Chemogas is a Belgian specialty chemical gases company. Its products are used in medical sterilisation, refrigeration, cosmetics, pharma and many other industries. The company is a leader in its segment in Europe and Asia but has no presence in the US. Acquiring Chemogas would give any US specialty gases company an entry ticket to Europe and Asia so the combination with Balchem, which is the leading US specialty gases company but with only limited presence in Europe and Asia, is a marriage made in heaven.
