Time for a break … hit the brakes
Safim is an Italian manufacturer of hydraulic brakes for use in agricultural, construction and material handling equipment. Its mission-critical applications are used by all major blue-chip OEMs worldwide and the company has a great track record of long-term partnerships with its customers. This, and the many other USPs of Safim, needed to be highlighted in the information memorandum and the management presentation in order to maximise the interest of strategic buyers in the company. In the end Safim was sold to DexKo, an American manufacturer of vehicle parts, in an auction run by Lincoln International.
